You pay when the phone rings. Not before.
Five steps, your first thirty days, and exactly what gets done to your Google listing. If any of it is unclear, that is my fault. Call and ask.

You pay when the phone rings. Not before.
I put the work in first. Your website, your Google listing, all of it. You do not pay me a dollar until a customer calls you from it. If 45 days go by and nobody has, we shake hands and you owe me nothing.

- 01SignYour initials and one tap on your phone. No card, nothing charged.
- 02Text me photosReal jobs, straight off your phone. Before-and-after from the same spot is best.
- 03Your site goes liveWithin three business days of getting your photos and details. Then I build or fix your Google listing.
- 04Verify your listingGoogle sends a code or asks for a short video. I walk you through it on the phone.
- 05The phone ringsI send you the record. Your first $500 is charged 7 days after that.
We never promise a ranking, a lead count or revenue. Nobody honest can. That is why you pay nothing until a lead actually comes in.
Here is exactly what happens, in order.
Then the listing work repeats every month, and every month you get a new map. If the dots do not move, you will hear it from me first.
- Day 0The scanBefore I touch anything, your map gets scanned at 49 points, 5 miles out. That is the picture we are trying to beat, and you get the file.
- Day 1-3The listingCategories set to what actually ranks here. Every empty field filled. Services, hours, description, photos, attributes.
- Day 3-7The siteBuilt from your real jobs and live within three business days of getting your photos. Nothing is charged until your phone rings.
- Day 7-14The plumbingEvery directory that lists you gets corrected. Name, address and phone made identical everywhere. Local links built.
- Day 14-21The competitor above youTaken apart gap by gap. You get the list, in order, with what it would take.
- Day 21-30The second scanSame 49 points, same radius, same search. Side by side with day 0. That is the report.
What actually happens.
No ads. No bought reviews. No tricks that get a listing suspended. This is the boring, correct work that almost nobody does.
- 01Directory auditEvery site that lists the business gets checked. Wrong phone, old address, a second listing nobody remembers making. All of it gets fixed or killed.
- 02Point-by-point scanThe map gets scanned at 49 spots, 5 miles out, before anything is touched. Same scan after. No cherry-picking a good corner.
- 03Listings and local linksThe directories that matter get built out properly, and local sites that should point at the business start pointing at it.
- 04CategoriesThe listing's primary and secondary categories get set to the ones that actually rank in this market, not the ones that sounded right at sign-up.
- 05Every field filledDescription, services, hours, attributes, photos. A half-empty listing loses to a full one.
- 06Name, address, phoneMade identical everywhere. A "Ste" here and a "Suite" there is enough to split the trust.
Not every agency works like this. Young SEO does.
| The usual agency | Young SEO | |
|---|---|---|
| Who does the work | An account manager relays it to somebody you never meet | Joe. Every time. Same phone number. |
| What you pay first | Half up front, before you have seen anything | Nothing. Not at signing, not at launch. The first bill comes after your first call. |
| If it is not working | You are still paying in month eleven | No call in 45 days and you walk away owing nothing. |
| How long you are locked in | Twelve months that renew on their own. Cancel in writing, 60 days out. | Three payments once the calls start, then month to month. One month's notice by text. |
| How long you wait for an answer | A ticket, a queue, and a reply in two or three business days | Fifteen minutes, to me, on a text. Six to nine on weekdays, seven to three Saturday. |
| How you ask for a change | Log into a portal, file a request, wait for the next sprint | You text me what you want different. Under twenty minutes it is free and it is done that day. |
| Who holds the domain | Registered to the agency and held hostage when you leave | I register it and pay for it. Ask and it moves to your own account, free. |
| Who they work for | Dentists, lawyers, e-commerce, and you | The trades. Only the trades. |
| Who they answer to | A sales quota | My last name is on it, and my brother is a client. |
If another agency will put those answers in writing next to Young SEO's, hire them instead. I mean that.
Straight answers.
What counts as the phone ringing?
The first real call from your Google listing or your website, or the first form someone sends through your site. Not a robocall, not a recorded sales pitch, not spam. When it comes in I send you the record: the date, the time and the number or the form. Your first $500 is charged 7 days after that.
What if nobody calls?
Then you do not pay. If no call or form has come in within 45 days of signing (or 45 days after your Google listing is verified, if it is not verified yet when you sign), either of us can end it and nobody owes anything.
What do I actually have to do?
Sign with your initials. Text me photos of real jobs. Verify your Google listing when Google asks, and I walk you through that on the phone. Then ask your customers for reviews when I send you the text to use. Answering the phone is yours too.
How long until I see it move?
The listing work happens in the first week and the map often reacts within days of a category or field change. Directories and links compound over the following months. You get a scan every month, so you watch it instead of taking my word for it.
Is there a contract?
Yes, a short one, and you sign it with your initials. Once the first call comes in and billing starts, the minimum is three monthly payments. After that it runs month to month, and one month's notice by text or email ends it.
Who owns the domain?
I register it and pay for it while we work together. If we stop, I move it into your own account for free when you ask, whatever else is going on between us.
Do you only work in Kansas City?
No. I am in Kansas City, Kansas, and I work with contractors across the KC metro and anywhere else in the US. The map work is the same everywhere. What changes is who you are up against.
I already have a website.
Then I look at it first. If it is good, we keep it and the work goes into your Google listing and the SEO. If it is costing you calls, I rebuild it as part of the $500.
Do you run ads?
No, and I refer that out. Ads stop working the day you stop paying. The map does not.
Why should I trust a 20-year-old?
Do not. Check the three things on this page instead: the family masonry company since 1996, the detailing business with 98 five-star reviews and no negatives, and the before-and-after maps with the scan settings printed on them. If a 45-year-old had that and I did not, hire him.
Can you guarantee page one?
No, and nobody honest can. What I can do is put the work in first and not bill you until it brings in a call. The maps on this page are what that work did for my own family's business.

Answers his own phone. Runs the scans himself. Three trades under management today.
Fifth generation in the trades. Young SEO is my side of it.
I am Joe Young. I grew up in De Soto, one of nine kids, in a fifth-generation masonry family. My brothers and I were mixing mud and setting brick before any of us could drive. Our family's masonry company has been working Kansas City since 1996 and is past 2,400 jobs.
I took what I saved on those jobs and started a detailing business. It has 98 five-star Google reviews and zero negatives. Then somebody was supposed to be marketing it, and for five weeks the map stayed red.
So I stopped hiring it out. I spent countless hours learning how Google Maps actually decides who shows up, took over the marketing myself, and just thirty days later the map was green. Now I do it for my brother's masonry company and a holiday lighting company too.
Young SEO is an agency of one, on purpose. No account manager, no pitch deck, nobody between you and the work. When you call, I answer, and I am the one who does it. I know what it is like to be on a roof at 6 a.m. wondering where next week's jobs come from.
Ten percent of every job goes to missions. Same as the masonry company. Same as the detailing business. That does not change because it is a website now instead of brick.

Want to see where you actually rank first?
Tell me your trade and your town. I run the 49-point scan on your business and send you the one-page Gap Sheet: where you rank, who is above you, and the three things between you and them. Free, and there is no call attached to it.
